Whether you’re single or in a relationship, Valentine’s Day is a day that is hard to ignore. While I believe in showing your partner (and yourself!) love all year round, it is fun to have a day devoted to love. I’m a fan of all things cannabis and all things love, so I’ve compiled a list of my top gift ideas to ensure a fun cannabis Valentine’s Day with friends or a lover!

Rebel Coast Winery has created a cannabis infused Sauvignon Blanc that contains no alcohol. Why no alcohol? Per the bottle “Well, legally we can’t mix alcohol and marijuana, yet.. So we decided to craft one of our award-winning Sauvignon Blancs in Sonoma, remove the alcohol, and infuse it with our 100% outdoor grown sativa for it’s effects and classic cannabis aroma.” After trying this wine myself, I absolutely agree with their slogan “Smells like weed, tastes like wine.”
Rebel Coast’s infused wine will appeal to a variety of guests at a Valentine’s Day dinner party. It contains 16 mg THC per bottle, which is roughly 4 mg THC per glass. For the first time consumer, this white wine provides a smooth welcome to edibles. A few sips, not exceeding 2 mg THC, is a great starting point. Experienced consumers may want to indulge in more, but if you are uncertain of your tolerance, start low and go slow. Infused liquids pass through the digestive tract quicker than solid edibles, so guests may feel the effects before appetizers are even finished. It’s important to remember that the speed at which edibles kick in is different for everyone, so it’s best to wait 1-2 hours before consuming a second serving.
If you’re looking for an infused dish to serve with the infused wine, Sauvignon Blanc’s pair well with seafood. I recommend drizzling an infused olive oil over salmon or shrimp.
Speaking of Infusions..

Cooking with your partner is a creative and rewarding way to bond. Making your own cannabis butter or oil used to be messy and complicated until the Levo Device came along. The Levo, which launched in 2017, is a discreet and easy to use infusing machine. All you have to do is put herb and oil in the machine, set the temperature and cook time, and then the Levo creates your desired infusion. The customizable temperature means you are not restricted to cannabis infusions but instead can use your herb of choice to make a variety of infused oils, like lavender for a bath scrub.

Chocolate is a sweet way to say “I love you” and gifting an infused chocolate bar makes things even sweeter. While there are many infused chocolate options available at dispensaries, Kiva blackberry dark chocolate has been my go to for years due to the taste, informative packaging and consistent strength. If you are new to edibles, start with 2.5 mg THC and wait 2 hours before consuming more. Remember that you can always eat more but you can’t eat less!
